This
report allows you to view folder permissions for specific users and groups.
Click on
button under Built-in Reports in button in the
toolbar.
The
Built-in Reports window with the list of reports will be displayed as shown
below:
Step
1: Report Selection
Select the report to be
generated. Only one report can be generated at a time.

Click Next
to proceed to the next step.
Step
2: Select a server to view users and groups:
Select a server, to retrieve
available users and groups from.

Click Next
to proceed.
Step 3: Select users and
groups
Select the user and/or group
accounts for which you would like to view the permissions on folders.
Click Next
to proceed.
Step
4: Select server(s) to enumerate shared folders
Select one or more servers to retrieve available shares.
Click Next
to proceed.
Step
5: Select folders from the list
Select the list of shared folders, for which you want the report to be
generated, from the enumerated list using the checkboxes. You may also type the
UNC path of a folder that is not in the list, such as a folder that is not
shared, and then click Add, to add it to the list. In addition, you may
also import a list of UNC paths to shared and non-shared folders from a text
file by using the Import button.
Folders that have identical permissions as the parent folder
would show up with "Same as parent" in User Name and/or Security
fields in the report. However, if you do not want folders with identical
permissions as the parent folder reported, then select Do not display folders
that have same permissions as the parent folder option. This option will not
report folders with identical permissions as the parent folder.
Note: The "Do not display folders that have same permissions as the
parent folder" option would be enabled by default.
ARKWE defaults to scanning all
the sub-folders under a given shared folder. If you want to change the Include
sub-folders and Folder level options click Edit Folder Options.

Click OK
to proceed.
Click Finish to generate the selected report.
After the
data collection process is complete, the report would be generated in a report
window as shown below:
